I was awarded the Stoye Award for best student talk in General Ichthyology at the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists for my presentation about the parallel evolution of trophic-associated ecomorphs in pike cichlid (Crenicichla) assemblages of the Uruguay and Parana Rivers in subtropical South America.
